Our Story

Hi there,

I’m Porschea, the owner and creator of Dolly’s Dough. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine running my own baking business, but here we are—thousands of cookies later, sharing our passion with cookie lovers across the UK.

It all began in 2020, when I was pregnant with my baby girl and craving the gooey, thick New York-style cookies we fell in love with during a trip to NYC. I searched high and low across the UK, ordering cookies online from countless bakeries, but nothing came close. So, I decided to bake my own. Baking has always been my passion, and I was determined to create something truly special.

Through endless trial and error, using over 10,000 bags of sugar, 6,000 eggs, and countless Belgian chocolate chips, I finally perfected the recipe. That first bite was everything I’d dreamed of: soft and gooey in the middle, slightly crisp on the outside, and packed with flavor. It took me right back to NYC.

My husband, after devouring far too many cookies, said, “You should sell these as gourmet postal cookies so people across the UK can order online and experience just how good they are—they don’t need to go all the way to New York City to find perfection.” And so I did!

In November 2021, I launched Dolly’s Dough. This is where our story begins!
