Our Story

Hi There,

Porschea here, owner and creator of Dolly’s Dough. I still can’t believe I’m saying that! Never did I think I would have my own baking business but here we are, thousands of cookies later.

It all started back in 2020 when I was pregnant with my baby girl and craving cookies that we had a couple of years ago in NYC. I searched everywhere across the U.K. I ordered from various places online but none tasted quite like that classic, gooey, New York style cookie I had been craving. So I decided to make my own, after all baking has been a passion of mine for many years.

Through trial and error and roughly 10,000 bags of sugar, 6,000 eggs and a million chocolate chips later, I had found the perfect recipe. I still remember the first taste of the most perfect cookie and that’s when I said “That’s it, that’s perfection.” Soft and gooey yet slightly crisp on the outside. It took me right back to being in the busy streets of NYC. We ate a lot of cookies and my husband said to me “You should sell your cookies, people would die for these”
and so I did!

In November 2021 I launched Dolly’s Dough. We are a small, family owned business, where all of our cookies are hand crafted and freshly baked.

And so here we are, this is where our story begins! Welcome to Dolly’s Dough, the home of our incredible cookies! I truly believe we have the best cookies in the UK. Take it from me, I’ve tried A LOT!
